Amazon S3 Cloudfront step-by-step
Setting up Amazon S3 Cloudfront to speed up the delivery of your files should be easy (ez!) if you view and then follow these screencast tutorials. Click here if you are not sure what Amazon CloudFront is or how it can help you.Step 1
Sign-up for the CouldFront service Amazon's CloudFront service makes your files available across the entire Amazon server-space, this cuts down on 'latency'. It's particularly good for videos as it speeds up the delivery and initial download of the file. 1. Signing up for Amazon S3 Cloudfront
Step 2
Setting up your eZs3 account to use the CloudFront
Now you have added the service to your Amazon account, you have to join the dots to your eZs3 account. This includes deciding which of your folders will use the CloudFront. One extra service we added was an updater which will run through all your players and recode them to use the CloudFront (this saves you having to do this one-at-a-time.) 2. Setting up your eZs3 account with CloudFront
Step 3 ?
CNaming. This isn't for everyone.
If you want to hide the address of your file, even hide the fact that it is coming from Amazon S3, then you can use CNaming. We do not offer support to set up or correct CNaming.
Please get your tech support to do it if you have any doubts, whatsoever. 3. Using CNaming with the S3 Cloudfront
