Looking at my Amazon S3 account - What does all that info in the File and Folder summary mean?

When I create a new folder, I get a folder/file summary. And it displays this information:

Folder Costs Folder Size 31.50 Mb Folder Cost $0.0046 Folder Transfer Cost $5.2302 Based on 1000 Views of each file

Here at www.eZs3.com we only charge a fixed rate for our player creation, file management and reporting services.

Each file you upload to your Amazon S3 account is invoiced to you by Amazon

In the example above, a file of 35MB cost under half a cent to upload to Amazon

It will cost under half a cent each time it is viewed

For a 1000 views in a particular month it will cost $5.23

That's per month.. so if you have less.. it will cost less.. more.. and it will cost more

That is the beauty of the Amazon S3 service, you only pay for what you use. Quiet months mean low bills.. busy months means you should have earned the revenue to match.

And you know that you can rely on Amazon to scale up to service your viewers and listeners!
