Another innovation at eZs3.com – affiliate marketing for audio and video clips

Many of our users have great media to support their offerings and they wanted to offer these clips to their affiliates. The embed code we offer allows them to do this easily and quickly.

However, the affiliate needs a simple way to add their affiliate code to the media – so that they are credited with any traffic they send over

Again, we had this covered because the eZs3 user can create a player for each of their affiliates. But this was a bit cumbersome.. so a tweak was needed.

Now the eZs3 user can take their media – FLV, MOV, MP3 file (all of which can support a viral link) and provide the embed code to their affiliates.

(We see this most likely being offered on a page showing a collection of media clips for their affiliates)

The affiliate simply chooses the preferred clip and edits the corresponding embed code to add their own unique affiliate tracking code

Then pastes the code onto their site.

Each view will be tracked in eZs3 and each click-through will also be reported on in the stats

Having added file tracking  and reporting for our users to monitor and manage their files, it was only natural for us to take a look at the aggregated stats of all the files we help power.

Steve created a report for us to use which simply lists the type of player, how many files we host and how many times they have been viewed.

Following recent requests from members, we have added new functionality for SWF video files.

Several members who are using SWF files wanted to upload them to their Amazon S3 account asked us to   add a simple upload-create-embed service for SWF filetypes

We are pleased to confirm, we have now added this functionality.

This means that you can directly embed SWF video files onto your web pages with a simple embed script using eZs3.com

Like all of the players created by eZs3, all you have to do is have your own Amazon hosting account (17c per gigabyte!) upload your material via eZs3 and and complete the forms.

SWF is a popular format for screencasters and animators

Video Sales Letter is a comprehensive new service being created by Skylr Monaghan and Ben Cope which will provide custom designed WordPress themes.
