Tip #1 – Ten Top Tips for Lightweight Web-Ready and Smooth Playback Video

Welcome to our series of ten top tips for web-ready video

By the time you upload your video at eZs3 – you may have battled through hours of issues and problems getting the footage in the can, editing and adding effects – only to find that it doesn’t look as good as you hoped

Well, we hope that these top ten tips – although super simple, and maybe super-obvious – will prevent pitfalls before they happen, save you time and get you creating slick looking and sexy video

Top Tip Number #1 – Use a tripod

Yes – it may be the most obvious piece of advice – but it really does make a difference

The slightest of movements in a head shot or three quarter shot can completely ruin your video, no matter how well you are dressed or how many cool extra features you have added in editing

You don’t need to spend a fortune on your tripod, it just needs to be able to hold your camera

Even if you are a guerilla videographer and use small handheld cameras (like the Flip) to grab interviews for your blog, a small bendy tripod will allow you to get an even surface wherever you are (we have even had ours wrapped around railings!)

This will give a professional glisten to your content, as well as leaving your hands free to gesture, gesticulate and get your point across

A tripod also means that you don’t need some one else holding the camera, so you can work at your own pace, in your own time and wherever you want to

So go beg and borrow, or spend a few bucks and pick up a tripod that will keep you on the level
